Project Background
US Resist News brought me on to redesign the organization's homepage while supporting ongoing website management. Alongside the redesign, I published and formatted news articles, optimized images for web, maintained internal linking, and ensured new content aligned with the site's visual style and editorial structure.
Process
Working in WordPress (with Divi), I redesigned the homepage to improve readability, content hierarchy, and navigation while preserving the organization's existing brand. As new articles were published, I prepared content for the web by formatting layouts, creating and editing supporting graphics, managing links, and maintaining consistency across the site.
Outcomes & Take-Aways
This project strengthened my editorial web design skills and reinforced the importance of balancing visual design with content management. It also provided valuable experience working with high-volume publishing workflows, maintaining consistency across frequently updated content, and designing for readability in a news environment.
