Project Background
The New York Real Estate Chamber brought me on as a Wix Associate to support its digital presence before, during, and after the annual ELM Conference. Working alongside the operations team, I designed new website pages, refined existing layouts, and translated a large amount of conference information into an organized, user-friendly experience.
Beyond the website, I created presentation slides, sponsor graphics, social media assets, and event materials that extended the conference branding across digital and in-person touchpoints. After the event, I continued maintaining the site by updating galleries, refreshing content, and organizing conference resources for future attendees.
Process
My work focused on balancing evolving content with a consistent user experience. As speakers, sponsors, schedules, and event details changed, I collaborated closely with the NYREC team to quickly implement updates while maintaining visual consistency across desktop and mobile. Within their existing site, I developed flexible page layouts, organized information into clear content hierarchies, and produced supporting assets that kept the conference experience cohesive from promotion through post-event recap.
Outcomes & Take-Aways
This project strengthened my ability to work within an established brand while adapting to changing priorities and tight deadlines. It also gave me experience designing across a much wider range of touchpoints, from the conference website and social graphics to sponsor materials and presentations used at the event itself. The conference launched smoothly, with the website and event materials working as planned without the anticipate need for day-of fixes.
A big takeaway from this project was how fun it is to see your work out in the world beyond a screen. Seeing the designs become part of such a large-scale event and polished attendee experience is always the best.
